An interesting thing he points out that I never noticed is that in episode 4 ("A Last Time For Everything", which was actually the 6th they produced) he used a backwards version of Aeon's theme for her clone. There's lots of interesting background and production details, and also for each episode he goes into the variety of different instruments used and why, which was great. I read through the booklet this morning and it's excellent! Drew Neumann recollects about all 3 seasons of the show, doing both the music and sound effects for the first 2, and then only the music for the half-hour series iteration. It also arrived a-okay in bubble-wrap with sticker on the cardboard packaging that reads "FRAGILE" (I think it's Italian) and "HANDLE WITH CARE".īummer! If you don't have a replacement case handy (not everyone has an extra chubby lying around), Waxwork might send you one. None of the enclosures hold together, chunks of plastic are gone, but at least the CDs are ok. My Aeon Flux jewel case is completely destroyed. Glad everyone else were lucky on the shipping side of things. For some reason I was expecting digipaks or digisleeves. I was pleasantly surprised that the discs are packaged in a chubby jewel case. My physical copy arrived today in perfect condition!ĭitto. Yay! I had honestly forgotten I'd preordered this set! So a treat and a surprise all in one. Just got a shipping notice from Waxworks that the CD set is winging its way to me. They are also releasing a $35 3-CD version: Wow, in addition to the $195 6-LP version: It's the only electronic score album I know that is as Mickey Mousey in its way as a Tom and Jerry cartoon.Ībsolutely appropriate for the show, and works fine in the episodes, but I could never get into it. I have the double CD released in 1997, under the title: Eye Spy (Ears Only : Confidential), without reference to the show.
